Bit Scuffed — Independent Animated Series

About the Project

Bit Scuffed is an independent animated series being developed by a collaborative team of volunteer artists. We’re working toward completing our pilot, with production spanning storyboarding, modeling, texturing, animation, voice acting, and more.

We’re currently looking for 1–2 additional storyboard artists and revisionists to help us finish the last few scenes in our storyboard pipeline.

The Role

Depending on your strengths and experience, you may create storyboards for scenes that haven’t been boarded yet, revise existing boards, or help refine sequences to better communicate the story and prepare them for production.

Responsibilities

• Create storyboards from provided scripts and scene descriptions
\n
• Revise and polish existing storyboards based on feedback
\n
• Translate dialogue and action into clear, readable shots
\n
• Help establish staging, character acting, composition, and shot flow
\n
• Collaborate with the project lead and other artists to maintain continuity and visual consistency
\n
• Make adjustments as scenes develop through the production process
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
• An understanding of visual storytelling and cinematic staging
\n
• The ability to interpret scripts and translate them into clear sequences
\n
• Familiarity with storyboarding fundamentals, including shot composition, pacing, and continuity
\n
• Willingness to receive feedback and revise work collaboratively
\n
• Reliability and communication throughout the process
\n

We welcome artists at different experience levels, as long as they have a solid understanding of storyboarding and are willing to collaborate.
