About the Position

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Georgia

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend only options available (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday). Call required – typically one weekday call per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Contract end date options: January 16, January 30, or February 13. Limited time-off availability due to holiday coverage requirements.

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular OR experience with comprehensive case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, VAD, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, high-quality perioperative care
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred; community hospital experience valued
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years CVOR experience
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of application
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiovascular and thoracic scrub procedures required, including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, vascular surgery, and thoracic procedures
• Full compliance documentation must be completed prior to start date
• Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Flexibility to work major holidays as required by assignment length
