Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field required
• EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift.
• Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process and medical plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Coordinate patient care delivery across various age groups.
• Incorporate teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care.
• Delegate aspects of patient care delivery based on staff's clinical competence.
