Our lawyers are focused on winning by being fearless, loyal, efficient, and steadfast. We are equally committed to making the world and legal profession better through dedicated DEI, community service, and attorney development work.

From the start, Maron Marvel attorneys had a passion for superior work product, a distinctive culture rooted in mass tort litigation, and an obsession with exceptional client service. Today, with over 100 attorneys in 14 offices in 12 states, Maron Marvel is best-in-show in national litigation risk management and mass tort defense. The firm serves as national, regional, and trial counsel to Fortune 500 companies with multiple operations located in the most dangerous plaintiff jurisdictions in the country. Maron Marvel's clients come from the energy, construction, manufacturing, technology, transportation, insurance, and liability-related industries. In addition to mass toxic torts, the firm also offers legal services concerning commercial disputes and liability-related defense.

  • Assist with reviewing and summarizing medical records, deposition transcripts, discovery documents, and other case-related materials.
  • Support attorneys and paralegals with case preparation throughout the litigation process, including discovery and trial preparation.
  • Assist with tracking case deadlines, maintaining calendars, and organizing litigation materials.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure assignments are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform additional administrative and litigation support duties as assigned.
Skills:
  • Foundational understanding of legal terminology, legal research, and litigation procedures acquired through a paralegal certificate or degree program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, colleagues, and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Adobe Professional and Adobe DC.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, ask thoughtful questions, and incorporate feedback.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new processes, technologies, and legal procedures.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a litigation team.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a paralegal certificate program or an associate's or bachelor's degree in Paralegal studies, Legal Studies, or a related field required.
  • Internship, externship, or academic experience involving legal research, document preparation, or litigation support is a plus.
